Pretty Pictures

While we were playing outside at GraGra's house on Sunday afternoon, Daddy managed to get some great new pictures of Colin and Gillian. Not too much to say about them, just wanted to share.

Gillian was doing some "Little House on the Prairie" shots for Daddy. He kept singing her the theme song to the tv show. GraGra's crazy cat, Annika, joined us in the tall grass for a while. She's pretty leery of the kids, but they were tempting her to play with them.


I love the dress she's wearing. It's Carters from one or two seasons ago; it's been in her bin for a while. It's definitely going in the "keep" pile for my yet-to-be nieces.





This last one is my new favorite Bean picture. Her expression is quintessential Gillian. Slightly grumpy, slightly skeptical.


Colin had his turn too. He had been running his toy digger all of the stone drive-way in 88 degree heat, making him BRIGHT red. He gets that from me. We did get him to sit on the step for a minute or two and pose. He has this awful "cheese" face right now.


These are little less "cheesey."



My favorites though are his "siren" face. This kid spends about 85% of his waking hours being a vehicle. He likes to be a rocket, a car, a truck, a train, and, increasingly, a firetruck. And, of course, the firetruck goes "WOO WOO WOO!"
