The kids and I were THRILLED to see a blow up yard penguin!!! Woo hoo! C&G LOVE those blow-up decorations.
Daddy? NOT.AT.ALL. Hates them.
HA! Matt and Rachel had sneaked into our yard, set up the penguin, and sped out of the drive-way before we realized anything. Umm, thanks guard cats.
Daddy was SO thrilled. Good thing it was Matt....if anyone else had tried this, it wouldn't have gone over nearly as well!
So, meet Puffy. That's what we named him! The kids like him. After Thanksgiving he'll move around to the front of the house!

We hate those things too -- but the kids love them. Mark's parents bought a snow globe one for us a few years ago -- but we put it on the deck so only WE could see it through the sliding glass doors out of the kitchen -- and it didn't have to be in our yard. The snow globe "mysteriously" got lost in the move, though. Too bad.
I'm not a fan of the blow up yard ornaments either, but Puffy arrived in style, so I'm cool with him.
That is hilarious. I'm not a fan of the inflatables either. One year my dad and Erik decked out our yard with Santa and a snowman while mom and I were out shopping. Later that year, on the night of our New Years party, some of our friends rigged Santa up on the top of their car and drove around the neighborhood, with Santa inflated. Because THAT won't alert the cops on New Years Eve...
