Gillian went first.
This is what she dictated to me.
And the picture she drew for Santa.
I'm not sure Santa will share his birth date with us though.
While Gillian was very direct and industrious with her letter, Colin seemed to be angst ridden over his. He kept telling us he wasn't ready. And he kept pouring over and over the toy catalogs. We think he was nervous that he wouldn't put the exact RIGHT thing on his list and he would be disappointed on Christmas morning. Finally, he felt ready though and we got down to business.

And his picture:
The next morning we headed to the mall to mail our letters in the Macy's Santa mailbox.
So off the letters went to the Big Guy in the North Pole! Let's hope he didn't see the epic, earth-shattering fit that Gillian threw 20 minutes later in Sears. Oy.

Oh my goodness... such sweet letters! I hope you copied them before you mailed them. And G looks so sweet and innocent in that photo- you would never believe just minutes later she would lose her mind over boots that hurt her feet!
